Warning: If you are eating right now, please close this and come back later. I don’t want to be responsible for you losing your appetite. Some may find this kind of gross. Oh, and no animals (including insects) were injured during the taking of this photo.
This is a completely random post and I find myself laughing for even publishing it. But, I found it funny, so I wanted to share it with you.
The Story: So, I walked out into the kitchen to put my dishes in the sink and what did I see? Why it’s a fly. Not just any fly, one that is laying on it’s back. WTH? Of course I thought he had already passed onto the “other life”. No, he was moving his little legs around trying to flip over. Naturally, I went for my camera, zoomed in, and captured the moment. What any photog would of done, right? He played possum as I got closer with the lens. Then I grabbed the flyswatter, scooped him up, and threw him out the door. The End.
Can you say you’ve ever seen a fly laying on his back?
P.S. Do you ever wonder why we call insects “he”? “He’s on your back!” ~ “He’s over there!” ~ “I just smashed him!” I give you permission to laugh, because this type of logic (if I can call it that) actually runs through my brain.
Until the next random post, have a good night. And come on Oscar Sunday!
