This Photographer’s Most Treasured Possession

October 21, 2013

If you were to ask a group photographers what their most treasured possession was, what do you
think they would say?
Their camera?
Computer software?
Lighting equipment?
Darkroom supplies?
The knowledge one possess about the trade?
None of these answers are incorrect.  I ask out of curiosity.
If someone were to ask me I would simply say…my work.  Although my work is copyrighted at the moment of creation, I still must take steps to protect it.  We live in a digital world and for years I struggled with many insecurities regarding publishing my work online.  After some research and discussions with fellow photographers, I let go of the doubt and moved forward.

In regards to the photograph above, it’s a flashcard.  I came across a set of Slang flashcards at a thrift store.  Not sure how it ties in with the others, but I’ll take it.  Perhaps I should frame it.
