Here’s an interesting story.
One summer I took a part-time job at the local Kmart. During my interview I clearly stated that I didn’t want to work the registers and that I would be more productive organizing and stocking the shelves.
On my first day I was taken to train in the photo lab. I couldn’t focus at all. I kept hearing a voice in my head saying, “I hate this job!” I felt sorry for the guy that was training me, because I could clearly see he was putting a LOT of effort in showing me what to do with the film. And I truly believe that he could tell that I had no interest in the photo lab. My second day working there I was a cashier. And I loved it!
That was six years ago.
Today, my wish list includes the Diana Deluxe Kit. Yes, that’s correct a camera that uses film. And I dream of someday having my own darkroom.
Isn’t it funny how things turned out?
Until the next word…
